Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior UI/UX Designer with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience of our groundbreaking products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design interfaces that are not only visually stunning but also intuitive and user-friendly. What you’ll do:

• Lead Design Initiatives: Drive the UI/UX design process from concept to final implementation for our hardware and software products.
  

• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
  

• User Research: Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys to understand user needs and translate them into design solutions.
  

• Create Design Assets: Develop wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
  

• Design Systems: Establish and maintain design guidelines, best practices, and standards to ensure consistency across all platforms.
  

• Mentorship: Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  

• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies, and integrate them into our products.
  

Requirements

What we think you will need to succeed:

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of professional UI/UX design experience, preferably in consumer hardware or IoT products.
  

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  

• Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered designs, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, etc.
  

• Research Skills: Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
  

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
  

• Team Player: Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  

• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile development processes.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Front-End Knowledge: Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to communicate effectively with engineering teams.
  

• Motion Design: Experience with motion graphics and micro-interactions.
  

• Startup Experience: Previous experience working in a startup environment.
